job description
as an associate manager of wharehouse and inventory, you will play a strategic and operational role to support the warehouse manager by leading daily warehouse operations and inventory control, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, kpi compliance, implementation of continuous improvement projects, sustainability initiatives, and team development. This position serves as a key bridge between tactical execution and mattel’s broader supply chain objectives.
the role will manage high-volume warehouse operations with a wide variety of skus, requiring advanced knowledge of wms and data-driven decision-making.
* supervise daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock levels.
* ensure on-time deliveries, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to sox policies.
* analyze logistics financial indicators and propose strategies to reduce operational costs (labor, overhead, shrinkage, storage).
* execute continuous improvement projects based on lean six sigma principles, aimed at optimizing layout, material flow, and workforce productivity.
* identify automation and digitalization opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
* generate analytical reports on inventory movements, productivity, and efficiency to support managerial decision-making.
* lead cycle and annual inventory audits, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity.
* align operations with mattel’s global sustainability objectives.
qualifications
what we are looking for:
* minimum of 5 years of experience in high-volume, complex warehouse operations, with a strong background in inventory control, cost reduction, team leadership, and performance management.
* proficient in wms systems and analytical tools (advanced excel, power bi).
* proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects and make autonomous decisions.
* advanced english proficiency, with strong skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with external vendors.
