*description*the carrier sales is responsible for procuring carriers for new or existing business, operational needs and/or margin improvements.
*key responsibilities*- cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing carriers.- regularly communicate with carriers to understand their capabilities, capacity, and market conditions.- negotiate favorable terms and rates with carriers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.- stay informed about market trends and conditions to negotiate competitive agreements- monitor and assess carrier capacity to ensure it aligns with the company's needs.- negotiate with carriers to generate capacity for new and existing business.- constantly look for new carriers to work with according to the company's needs.
*qualifications*- education: bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.- english level - advance- experience: minimum at least 1 year of proven experience in logistics of transportation and/or brokerage, and/or sales- excellent organizational and multitasking abilities- effective communication and negotiation skills.- proficiency in logistics software and microsoft office suite.- ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve problems efficiently.
