*position purpose*
manages strategic categories, primary contact between cms and director, they are the leader of the team, work close with the rest of the cms to improve the negotiations and strategies to boost sales.
*primary accountabilities*
- category strategic leadership - set high key priorities, work with category managers on customer-oriented strategies to deliver kpis through line reviews, merch business plan and vendor's plan.
- team development - coach cm and acms on job responsibilities, develop team member skills, give pertinent feedback, and calibrate periodically.
- market visit with tsm, (stores, commercial counter and commercial customers). Identify commercial customer's needs.
- visit vendor's facilities such as factories, warehouses, offices, laboratories, etc.
- support key company initiatives working with multi-disciplinary teams.
- store support - customer satisfaction, pricing deals.
*education & experience*
level of formal education: a bachelor's degree (ba, bs) or equivalent.
Area of study: business degree
years of experience: five to seven years.
Type of experience: operational and merchandising experience
special certifications or technical skills: microsoft office, data entry, management
other/preferred: bilingual (english/spanish)
