metamap is looking for a smart, savvy, energetic business development representative with a deep understanding of the fintech and financial service marketplace. We’re looking to expand further in mexico, so you should have a keen understanding of it services in *this region* and a passion to learn more.
*responsibilities*
your day will consist of the following:
- prospecting and researching target customers via websites, google alerts, linkedin, etc.
- working in alignment with the account executive and marketing teams to create strategies and lists for prospecting
- tracking your activity in salesforce
- finding creative ways of reaching busy senior executives
- working inbound leads in an efficient and productive manner
*skills & experience*:
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience
- bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- you must be a native *spanish* speaker and fluent in english (written and oral)
- a strong ability to influence others and build rapport quickly (especially over the phone)
- excited to be part of a high growth startup and passionate about new technologies
- the capacity to grow and take on more responsibility—we’re looking for professionals who want to grow into the next role
- you are comfortable making cold calls and speaking with senior executives
- you have experience in a sales environment
- you are motivated and driven by daily, weekly and monthly targets
