In this strategic role, you will take a leadership position in driving process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing trade working capital (twc) and free cash flow (fcf) performance across our organization. You will oversee the maintenance of a well-controlled twc process and play a pivotal role in achieving key performance metrics, including days sales outstanding (dso), days payable outstanding (dpo), and inventory management.you will report directly to the regional finance director and work closely with the regional management team to achieve significant business results related to trade working capital. Your responsibilities will include leading the planning and reporting of financial results and providing strategic support to regional teams on various complex financial matters.position responsibilities:lead the forecasting of cash flow and proactively identify potential risks and improvement opportunities.oversee the management of monthly cash flow projections and actual results, ensuring alignment with regional financial goals.communicate targets for key performance indicators (kpis) such as accounts receivable and cash flow goals for the region.spearhead process improvement initiatives to define cash flow performance indicators and deliver actionable insights for enhancement.collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive significant improvements in free cash flow.champion efforts to enhance order-to-cash processes and improve operational efficiency through innovative technology and automation solutions.facilitate the coordination and collaboration among global cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of cash management strategies.ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements by leading the development and implementation of robust policies and procedures.prepare and present comprehensive financial metrics reports related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory to senior management.lead monthly meetings to review accounts receivable collections, driving actions to resolve open items and improve collection efficiency.prepare detailed reports on the status of disputes, identifying key drivers affecting cash flow, and propose strategic solutions.collaborate with accounting professionals to streamline various financial processes, including billing and cash applications.oversee the preparation and execution of quarterly audits on accounts payable to ensure compliance with payment terms and best practices.partner with the regional finance director to establish ambitious cash collection goals and identify and mitigate barriers impacting cash collections.conduct monthly financial reviews, identify emerging issues, and propose strategic corrective actions to senior leadership.qualifications and requirements:bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., cpa, cma) is preferred.5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.high level of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all financial dealings.willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%).strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.proficiency in microsoft office; advanced skills in financial software and data analytics tools are highly desirable.this is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional looking to elevate their career within a dynamic and supportive team, while making a significant impact on our organization's financial performance.
