Position summary:
the retail application support analyst will have a technical background with retail pos as well as erp systems and applications and understands retail, omnichannel and e-commerce processes in general. In this role, you help analyze business needs and create it concepts to implement new processes, solutions, applications or even systems. You will be responsible for resolving application, software and connectivity problems. please note – this is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) based out of mexico.
responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. understand and support retail business processes and functionality focused but not limited to point of sale front- and backend application and systems.
2. participate in and contribute to us and international it related retail projects.
3. gather and document business requirements, process changes, and workflows.
4. integrate and implement new processes and solutions into existing system landscape.
5. support formal testing conducted by the business for system modifications and fixes.
6. manage and monitor system communication (interfaces).
7. create/edit training documentation using a variety of media.
8. provide end-user and internal training.
9. proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in an organized manner.
qualifications:
1. minimum bachelor’s degree in it/software engineering from an accredited college or university.
2. 5 years’ experience in similar roles.
3. excellent verbal and written communication skills in english - proficiency in email communication, virtual meetings, and collaboration tools. Ability to articulate ideas and instructions in a concise and understandable manner.
4. able to interface with internal customers and it management to communicate complex ideas clearly.
5. able to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and produce detailed requirements documents.
6. experience in supporting and configuring oracle retail xstore point of service (pos) system.
7. knowledge of xstore modules, including sales, inventory, and promotions.
8. proficiency in sap retail, sap car, and sap afs modules, with hands-on experience in configuration and support.
9. understanding of integration points between sap retail, sap car, sap afs, and other enterprise systems.
10. familiarity with sovia (store operations visibility and insight analytics) for real-time monitoring.
11. ability to troubleshoot and optimize sovia for better performance.
12. expertise in supporting sivis (store inventory visibility and intelligence system).
13. knowledge of sivis data structures and ability to perform data analysis.
14. knowledge of any crm or ecommerce solutions is preferred.
15. able to occasionally travel internationally - valid passport required.
16. analytical, independent, structured, and careful work attitude, as well as organizational talent and assertiveness.
17. speaking other languages like german, spanish, or portuguese is a plus.
18. able to lift 50lbs.
salary: $60,000 to $65,000 monthly.
