we are looking for a learning & training coordinator with background in last mile deliveries, logistics or with a manufacturer experience.
key responsibilities
the aces learning coordinator:
1. works with operations team and local trainers to coordinate amazon associates onboarding activities for the site and overall training needs.
2. will be responsible for understanding operational needs to deploy and execute learning & training plans to support delivery station execution, aligned with learning manager strategy.
3. focuses on developing and coordinating material and training sessions execution along with trainers to impact new amazon associates, improving operational metrics by standardizing process execution.
4. constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which the learning coordinator is assigned.
5. audits and ensures safety training program and standard work execution.
6. develops and tracks effectiveness of training programs, including orientation.
7. documents feedback results to help the learning department identify strengths as well as areas of improvement.
8. assesses development needs for individuals and groups.
9. maintains a positive attitude and presence on the floor.
a day in the life
we support operations and move according to their needs. Work a flexible schedule, willing to work nights and rotate shifts including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Travel up to 20% of the time as per business needs. Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts. Noise level varies and can be loud in a fast-paced environment.
basic qualifications
1. completed high school diploma or bachelor's degree in progress.
2. 1+ years experience in training working in an operations, logistics, manufacturer and/or service environment.
3. 1+ years of prior learning experience with demonstrated success in leading projects in a cross-functional environment, or experience in quality areas with interest in learning.
4. english intermediate b1+.
preferred qualifications
1. a completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
2. previous kaizen/continuous improvement experience.
3. experience delivering training/information to peers, hourly associates, and senior management, both individually and in group.
4. strong computer skills, including experience with transportation management systems and microsoft office.
5. ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
6. desirable: advanced english.
