the maintenance supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the maintenance team to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of plant equipment and services for the machines. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The maintenance supervisor plays a key role in minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment reliability.

what you will do
1. promote a culture of safety and ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
2. conduct safety training and ensure team members are knowledgeable about safety procedures and protocols.
3. develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
4. conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to team members.
5. lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
6. assign and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring alignment with operational goals and production schedules.
7. provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting complex equipment issues and ensure timely resolution of maintenance problems.
8. ensure maintenance practices comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
9. identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
10. lead and participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
11. manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials to ensure availability for maintenance activities. Coordinate with procurement for timely ordering of supplies.
12. allocate resources effectively to meet maintenance needs and optimize workforce productivity.
13. prepare and present maintenance reports, metrics, and performance data to management.
who you are (basic qualifications)
1. strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, equipment maintenance, reliability, and standard maintenance work processes.
2. supervisory/management experience with responsibility for direct reports.
3. excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
4. strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
5. advanced english.
