*mobile insurance specialist* *(mis)*
*role purpose*:
promote hsbc insurance solutions to match customer's wealth needs (in particular savings, retirement and investment), and increase insurance penetration through premier segment, with a key focus on clients that don't visit the branches often, through analytical and marketing program-driven sales leads and rm referrals. Deliver customer needs in line with customer timing and location preferences, through an outreach, mobile, and tablet-enabled sales model.
*principal accountabilities*:
identify and capture insurance business opportunities with prompt follow-up on analytically driven leads and campaigns
maintain a high level of submitted-to-issued ratio (with prompt follow up and after-sales service)
promote professional sale of insurance products
provide specialist advice on appropriate insurance solutions to ensure the insurance/ protection needs of premier nrc customers are well fulfilled
drive multiple-need fulfilment for existing nrc insurance etb customers through x-sell and maturity campaigns
build and maintain a positive team culture, through ensuring quality business referrals and referral skills among team members, and contributing to product knowledge and skills sharing. Build relationship with rms and clients
support referrals to the branch when other customer needs (wealth/ non-insurance) are identified
identify and capture business opportunity from customer referrals and provide referral leads to rm from non-bank customers to onboard the customer
manage individual insurance portfolio to ensure the highest rate of customer satisfaction and persistency.
requirements
*knowledge & experience / qualifications*
- solid experience in life insurance (2 years), ideally also in wealth management and sales capabilities
- strong client skills with the ability to deliver a strong client experience and provide needs-based solutions
- deep knowledge of specific complex financial solutions and products including the knowledge of financial markets, socia-economic dynamics, and regulatory requirement relevant to the products.
- extensive external market awareness of market conditions, new product solutions, and an understanding of current financial market activities.
- demonstrated ability and experience to correctly identify client needs.
- solid skills to manage consultative sales process.
- team player with collaborative skills.
