job description
wwt championship marketing:
1. in conjunction with external creative agency partners and vendors, create and nurture event’s visual look-and-feel through graphic design and consistent application of tournament brand identity.
2. direct and oversee external agency on all aspects of tournament’s social media presence and activity, including management of strategy and guidance on content via agency as well as the creation and posting of content directly and internally.
3. manage and supervise external creative agency partners and vendors for the development and production of creative materials including, but not limited to, printed collateral, digital marketing materials, signage, videography, photography, assets such as tv commercials or promo videos, etc.
4. manage tournament website and third-party webmaster.
5. support tournament operations department on tournament signage program, including development/ideation, design/production and installation/tear-down.
6. execute tournament’s paid marketing campaign including local print advertising, online digital marketing, television commercials, etc.
7. implement grassroots marketing initiatives in local region to drive tournament attendance and local market sales.
8. together with tournament staff and external creative agency partners, manage the creation and printing of official tournament publications (spectator guide, magazine, participant handbook, sponsor fulfillment reports, etc.).
9. other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
