coordinate all security related activities for the assigned office. Assist and act on behalf of regional security supervisor when required *.*
*responsibi *lities
-. Supervise all activities of the assigned facility’s plant protection staff and ensure compliance with pkc-na’s security policies and procedures
- ensure security staff’s full compliance with all motherson and pkc-na policies
- develop and present training programs for staff on relevant security topics
- prepare management reports as required, ensure accuracy and timeliness of all staff reports and communications, and disseminate according to established guidelines.
- manage location’s video surveillance systems to ensure maximum benefit is achieved. Personally utilize cctv to monitor activities of security officers at location.
- oversee facility’s participation in the customs-trade partnership against terrorism (c-tpat) program. Ensure full compliance with program requirements and submit periodic reports and documentation (in english).
- conduct and/or coordinate investigations of reported or alleged security breaches; develop facts and evidence; recover lost assets where possible; and support prosecution and/or administrative proceedings as appropriate.
- develop and maintain liaison relationships with human resources, ehs, and operations counterparts and actively participate in interdepartmental activities, initiatives and projects.
- ensure compliance with and enforcement of pkc group’s code of ethical conduct.
- develop thorough understanding of the company’s environmental health and safety policies. Communicate policies to security supervisors and officers under direct command and ensure effective implementation and enforcement.
- develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state and local law enforcement and appropriate governmental agencies at assigned location.
- ensure that regional security supervisor and security manager-na are apprised of all security-related activities and events at assigned location.
Profile.
- high school diploma required
- college or technical training in industrial security desired
- minimum 10 years employment industrial security area required
- 5 years in management or supervisory capacity desired
- security function in manufacturing environment desired
- working knowledge of ctpat program required
