(overview):the business systems ii - the sacm configuration coordinator is in charge of general cmdb quality by comparing and validating different sources of information provided by the client and/or compucom internal groups.
identifies issues and creates action plans to resolve them working together with the configuration managers and the client.
runs reports ad hoc and remediates the cmdb when needed.what we need & what you'll do (responsibilities):- run comparisons between information provided by config manager and the cmdb- identify issues with data and create an action plan- communicate action plans and errors found in database to config managers- keep librarians informed about any changes requested and approved for each client- monitor and audit librarians work- update work instructionswho you are (qualifications):- medium sacm service delivery and/or itam lifecycle knowledge- itil knowledge (desirable)- high level of competence in data management and quality standards, this includes the monitoring of data collection processes across an it environment using standard and defined methodologies, as well as compucom and or client toolsets- high attention to detail- highly organized- basic background in asset tracking and asset management planning, the primary role is to process tickets/cases routed to the sacm queue as part of itsm practices and/or generate routine reports as well as other duties assigned.- accountable for quality and completeness of cmdb/ci data updates in addition to the report generation.- a quality assurance focus
