*job description*:- perform moderate to complex configuration within labware laboratory informatics management system (lims) version 6 and/or version 7 environments- support and assist lims administrators in their configuration efforts- configure moderate to complex test analysis and related calculations- develop moderate to complex software functionality via lims basic- develop simple, moderate and complex reports using crystal reports and excel- write and perform tests scripts- interface laboratory instruments into labware lims using direct connections and various parsing methods- conduct and participate in code reviews to insure uniform standards are followed, code is engineered for best performance, and best practices were utilized- transform user requirements into functional solutions- mentor support team and lims admins*important qualifications*:- 4 year degree in an applicable field, preferably information science or similar- successfully completed following labware (v5,v6 or v7) courses:- lims admin i (or equivalent)- advanced lims basic (equivalent or demonstrated experience)- crystal reports (equivalent or demonstrated experience)- excellent written and verbal communications skills- excellent organizational skills- strong logical / analytical thinking- ability to troubleshoot and solve problems- 3-5 years of configuration and development experience with labware lims projects- 2-3 years of experience working in regulated fda/pharmaceuticals environments- possess working knowledge and experience with the following development tools:- visual workflows- lims basic- user dialogs and templates- weblims- crystal reports- zebra zpl language for label generation- sql command language*why astrazeneca?
