duties & responsibilities
in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and corporate johnson & johnson procedures and guidelines, this position:
* verifies that the assigned operators perform the certification process according to the training procedure.
* coordinates the execution of the grading plan of his/her assigned area, crossed by area.
* provides administrative support to the department (clerical activities).
* performs orientation for new employees.
* performs audits to files in order to verify that all the information is documented/filed adequately.
* monitors the certification matrixes of each area.
* trains operators in the training process for operative personnel.
* manages and maintains the training curricula of the direct operative personnel.
* manages and maintains the training physical record.
* provides maintenance to the training electronic system (compliance wire).
* provides support in training to new products, when required.
* participates in the development or implementation of the processes for new products.
* conducts and coordinates training when required.
* represents the employees for the mexican labor regulations.
* provides support to training during audits.
* reports the training metrics to his assigned areas.
* maintains constant communication with manufacturing (line coordinator and manufacturing supervisor).
* provides training to trainers in the training process.
* makes reports when required. Ensures that all the changes to the documents are done in the correct manner and within the adequate time.
* participates in manufacturing meetings when required.
* other responsibilities can be assigned and not all responsibilities listed on this document can be assigned.

* responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
* responsible for following all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices as applicable.
* for those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
* responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
* performs other duties assigned as needed.
qualifications
experience and education
* at least technical career, high school or truncated professional career (preferably).
* 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in training positions (preferably).
required knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications/licenses and affiliations
* knowledge of good manufacturing and documentation practices preferably in the medical industry.
* communication skills (oral and in writing).
* gmp/iso 13485:2003 basic knowledge.
* knowledge of training systems (preferably).
* presentation skills.
* use of computers (excel, powerpoint, word) basic level.
* preferably use of measuring tools (e.g. multimeter, pin gages, vernier, etc.).
* preferably knowledge and skills to perform failure analysis in the process.
