main responsibilities
* identifies design risk for new concepts or proposed changes by product engineering teams.
* propose, design and executes tests that will verify product design specification and validate customer expectations.
* plans for required virtual, laboratory, supplier, or field testing to reduce or eliminates risks.
* execution and follow up of all the verification and validation activities.
* identification of design failures or possible customer complains.
* documentation of failures and follow up on solution.
* root cause analysis of failures.
* creation and/or update of engineering validation procedures.
* assist in the development of specifications for subsystems, or components.
what skills you need
* basic cad knowledge (creo parametric preferred).
* strong knowledge on mechanics of materials.
* hands-on experience (i.e., building an electromechanical system).
* electronics and circuits understanding.
