Summary:
the primary objective of this role is to support the commercial business by enhancing and implementing automated electronic data transmissions for commercial customers. This position supports ar/bi functionality by researching issues, documenting processes and working with it to resolve functional and technical issues. This role also assists users with query and reporting services, enabling them to provide wow customer service to commercial customers and achieve financial objectives.
responsibilities:
1. tracks requests and manages implementations for electronic data transmissions to commercial customers.
2. collaborates with commercial credit team to understand requirements and configure transmission set-up in peoplesoft.
3. participates in customer phone calls when needed to determine requirements and identify potential enhancements needed to meet customer needs.
4. configures and tests new set-ups to ensure customer requirements are met.
5. works with commercial credit and it teams to coordinate implementation of edi810 (invoice) and edi820 (payment remittance detail) implementation for commercial customers.
6. ensures requirements are clearly defined and communicated to all involved teams; assists with testing and validation in peoplesoft.
7. utilizes office365 and other technologies to streamline the end-to-end process.
8. works with it to research, test and implement enhancements to electronic data transmission functionality that wow our customers and support sales growth.
requirements:
1. bachelor’s degree in finance, business, computer science or equivalent.
2. minimum 2 years’ experience in business analyst role, it development or equivalent.
3. knowledge of sql, sas and webfocus.
4. bilingual in spanish & english (verbal & written).
5. preferred:
6. experience with trintech products: reconnet and certification.
7. experience writing process design documentation.
8. experience with sharepoint 365.
