job summary
a delivery lead consultant's responsibilities include managing projects, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality work. They also need to be able to solve problems, manage budgets, and communicate effectively.
responsibilities:
1. project management
2. manage projects from start to finish
3. coordinate and integrate operations and technology activities with customers
4. plan and deliver deliverables and checkpoints
5. team leadership
6. guide and help team members improve their skills
7. ensure team members produce high-quality work
8. provide team members with the required skill set and level of expertise
9. budget management
10. monitor and manage the bu's operational budget
11. compile weekly or monthly reports for the bu head
12. risk management
13. ensure risks are proactively managed and highlighted in the right forums
14. manage risk and guide projects towards successful delivery
15. communication
16. build trust with stakeholders
17. provide regular updates
18. address concerns promptly
19. understand stakeholder needs and ensure their expectations are met.
qualifications:
1. minimum of 10+ years of track record in big it global services companies with experience in strategy, delivery, process consulting, stakeholder management, project/program delivery.
2. minimum 8+ years of experience in business development, customer relationship through transforming/modernizing the salesforce/sap platforms
3. effective communication and partner management – emotional intelligence, empathy and strong social, communications, and engaging presentation skills.
4. proven leadership of teams and business priorities through building relationships, listening, consulting and influencing outcomes
5. consultative, entrepreneurial, proactive, and productive; someone who instinctively knows what needs to be done and motivates colleagues towards accomplishments.
6. knowledge and experience to lead and deliver complex programs on quality, on time and on budget. Agile mindset, willing & open to create/try new processes and methodologies, adaptable with change; likes fast-paced environment and navigates easily with highly matrixed organization
7. effective communications skills. Drivers: open, transparent, driven, empowered, opportunity-filled, flexible & collaborative
