Drive expedient resolutions, escalate as required, and ensure appropriate and quality communication and documentation is in place.provide er expertise, consultation and market insights regarding the labor environment in mexico, including benchmarking industry best practices for people policies and practices, early warning systems for labor risks and non-compliance, and monitoring trends in labor standards, laws and government regulations for proactive action.advise people organization partners, employees and business leadership and managers on people management challenges, policies, procedures and employment laws.partner with global business people partners (gbpps) and global executive people partners (gebps) and with centers of excellence (coes), including the global people service center team, benefits, compensation, to provide guidance and recommendations to resolve team member issues and to enhance people organization programs.work with legal department to effectively manage team member issues.conduct relevant, effective leader trainings.plan, execute and monitor team member separations, severance and restructuring activities to ensure compliance to our global separation processes and local employment regulations.provide leadership and support in labor union relations, staying updated on local trends, industry issues, and government priorities to mitigate company risk. Formulate and drive the union engagement strategy for micron in mexico, fostering a positive relationship between labor representatives and the company. Support the company in union negotiations and act as a liaison between management and union representatives. Also support labor disputes, arbitration cases, and other labor proceedings, consulting with legal and stakeholders. Oversee statutory compliance related to labor at our guadalajara site.utilize data analytics to generate insights that inform and improve employee relations strategies, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Review and analyze case metrics and related data to identify meaningful trends and risk areas;work with gbpps/gebps and business leaders to address tm performance support plans.establish and develop a network with global er counterparts, legal, and people leaders, including er communities or chambers in mexico to learn and share employee relations strategies.additional responsibilities will include support of eeo, diversity and inclusion related programs, micron and rba code of conduct compliance matters and audits, hr compliance, government required reports, corporate activities, and other duties as assigned.about youeight years of work experience relevant to employee relations, preferably in the manufacturing or technology sector, in leadership positions. Exposure to mexico and us industries.direct experience in labor relations, with a strong understanding, appreciation and application of mexican and us labor law and practices particularly in the state of jalisco, as well as global labor standards and issues. Proven ability to conduct effective negotiations with union representatives and develop positive relations.critical thinking skills, keen sense of urgency, independent decision making, exacting standards of compliance and passion about doing the right thing for the company and its people.strong people skills, with a good command of written and spoken english.effective communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive and well-organized ideas in both written and verbal form.ability to influence and build trusting relationships.able to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and appropriately manage conflict.able to travel for work to any north america micron location, should the need arise.what we offer:we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, plus additional benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
