parsons is hiring a quality controls system manager to support power infrastructure re-building in puerto rico.
what you’ll be doing:
1. provides management direction, and includes administrative and supervisory responsibilities, involving all quality controls systems on this program
2. develops and maintains quality policy, processes, procedures and related documents. Reviews quality manuals, documents, and implementation procedures to verify compliance with industry codes and standards, regulations and regulatory commitments.
3. plans and executes required audit activities (schedules, plans, reports, finding resolutions, etc.).
4. effectively documents, follows-up and closes corrective actions - both internal and external.
5. assures audited activities meet parsons’ quality program, and client quality requirements.
6. performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records
7. collaborates with management for interface on quality activities with internal or external organizations (customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and others).
8. performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
what required education/skills you’ll bring:
9. degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management from an abet-accredited university/ institution
10. minimum of five (5) years of experience in related quality management work. This experience shall include a minimum of one project that included installation of at least 30 mw of new power generation for which the individual served as the cqc system manager.
11. current army cqm certificate” required
12. requires management ability and knowledge of quality management practices, processes and current technology
13. strong interpersonal skills to work with other departments in a tactful and effective manner.
14. strong leadership and management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical, problem solving, and risk assessment skills. Ability to make public presentations.
15. strong attention to detail.
16. strong working knowledge of iso quality management systems standards.
17. ability to direct and manage team members with day to day activities as well as special projects to assure timely completion.

salary range:
