position title: adjunct faculty - biology
job purpose: teaching a specified course or courses in biology in person/on campus. Prepare course materials, provide support and guidance to students, and report grades.
adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses or labs each semester on an “as needed” basis.
minimum job experience requirements: previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
additional skills required: master’s degree in biology or related discipline is required.
special instructions to applicants: complete applications are to include a cover letter and cv. This is a pooled position from which adjunct/affiliates will be hired as needed. As openings occur, we will draw candidates from this pool until may 2025 or until positions are filled for the current academic year. Applicants not chosen are invited to re-apply for consideration on or after june 1, 2025.
