*responsibilities*- act as the point of contact for external auditors- reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy of accounting records- conducting audits and reconciling accounts to ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately- preparing reports for management regarding financial status of the company and identifying issues that may require attention- ensuring that payments are made on time by monitoring cash flow and making advance payments when necessary- preparing reports and maintaining records on financial transactions in order to track income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and other measures of financial performance- coordinating with external auditors and accountants to ensure compliance with regulations- conducting audits to ensure accounting records accurately reflect financial transactions- calculating interest rates on loans or bonds using complex formulas such as the yield curve method, and ensuring that interest payments are made on time- managing accounts receivable by following up with delinquent customers for payment on their rent- supervise and train accounting staff*qualifications*- bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field- 10+ years proven accounting experience- professional accounting certification, including cma, cga, or ca- working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (gaap)- strong understanding of economic and banking processes- exemplary history of financial project management- experience with real estate accounting and property management software consider a plus*salary*: $12.00-15.00 per hour*job types*: full-time, contractschedule:- day shift- monday to friday*experience*:- pm: 1 year (preferred)- work location: remote*salary*: $206.00 - $257.50 per hour
