job description:
you will be responsible for:
* develops and leads the implementation of the hr strategy and solutions in support of both short-term and long-term business goals.
* creates and oversees the implementation of hr plans and programs related to organizational design or change management, focused on building strategic capabilities and driving a culture that embraces and advances j&j’s credo, innovation, and performance.
* works very closely with business leaders to drive leading-edge talent development solutions.
* collaborates with other functions (people experience, total rewards, talent acquisition, legal, etc.) to identify opportunities and ensure integration of efforts between one hr and the rest of the organization.
* responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
* partners with buhr to shape culture and employee engagement strategies guided by our credo/our voice survey insights, employee sentiment, etc.
* co-leads and executes the change management strategy on site.
* creates a high-touch/personal hr experience by supporting union and nonunion employees with questions, concerns, and general engagement.
* uses data and analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of hr initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for opportunities and continuous improvement.
* performs other duties assigned as needed.
qualifications / requirements:
required minimum education: bachelor’s degree
required years of related experience: 5+ years of professional experience required
* strong knowledge of transformational change strategies and communication.
* an intermediate level of english, both written and spoken, is required to facilitate communication with teams, global clients, and comprehension of documentation.
* project management skills.
* strong business acumen in translating business issues into practical, easy-to-implement solutions.
