*job summary*:
leading the organization, planning and execution of training strategy for all our employees will be responsible for ensuring the education and development program.
*major job functions - other duties may be assigned*:
- evaluate the skills, talents, performance and productivity of employees and prepare written evaluations with action plans for their improvement.
- oversee training in all key areas of operations, as well as certify staff in activities critical to operation and quality.
- research new training materials and supplies that can improve our training procedures and provide value to our employees.
- design and implement new on boarding models for the integration of new employees and their assignment to training sessions.
- identify future training needs and create a train the trainers to facilitate that training.
- design and implement a center of excellence for development and certification.
- develop and update multi-skill matrix.
- develop and implement the annual technical training plan.
- understand all aspects of shopworx and how to properly use the system as intended
- create & develop training material in shopworx.
- develop & implement shopworx standard process.
- develop shopworx best practices, policies, work instructions & procedures
- audit & validate the best practices in shopworx.
- oversee training in all key areas of operations, as well as certify staff in activities critical to operation and quality.
- research new training materials and supplies that can improve our training procedures and provide value to our employees.
Experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment highly preferred
