as a receptionist, you will be responsible for operating telephone business systems equipment or switchboards to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls. You will supply information to callers and record messages. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

* prioritize and manage multiple phone lines, calmly handling high call volume and transferring calls as needed.
* direct callers and visitors to the appropriate department or employee.
* assist with administrative tasks, including mail and package handling, scheduling appointments, and providing basic office support when necessary.
* maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area.
* complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
work experience
* requires knowledge and skills gained through formal training or considerable work experience.
* works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
* has 2 to 3 years of work experience.
education
* high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
* combination of education and experience will be considered.
certifications
* certifications may be required or preferred.
