*in this role, your responsibilities will be*:
- analyze and execute the messages indicated in the purchase order system.
- analyze the supplier's responses in the raw material purchase order issuance report generated weekly by the mrp system.
- negotiates and maintains constant communication with suppliers about the delivery dates that need to be expedited and keeps the system updated, making sure that the established delivery dates are met.
- daily communication with the materials planning area to keep them informed about raw material deliveries.
- responsible for acquiring rma's from suppliers for non-conforming materials reported for quality and answering the quality system.
- in coordination with quality assurance, ensures compliance with procedures, standards and specifications established in the quality management system related to the position.
- stay in sync with the safety regulations applicable in the company.

- *knowledge of electromechanical components*:this includes understanding their functionalities, specifications, and potential substitutes.

or equivalent experience in business administration, accounting, international business, industrial engineering, or related field.
- confirmed experience in similar position in a manufacturing environment.
- knowledge of mrp systems (oracle highly desirable).
- desirable knowledge in lean manufacturing methodologies
- experience in purchasing and negotiating with suppliers.
- knowledge in project management.
- bilingual, oral and written, in english and spanish.
- quick and active reaction to solve problems affecting performance indicators.
