*position overview*:
skilled spanish-mandarin-english translator and executive administrator. As an executive administrator and translator, you play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication between spanish, english, and mandarin-speaking audiences. In addition to acting as a translator, you will provide general administrative support to the leadership team.
*responsibilities*:
- interpret verbal communication accurately during meetings, conferences, and other events.
- ensure that translated materials maintain the style, tone, and context of the original content.
- collaborate with colleagues to clarify translation queries and ensure accuracy.
- stay updated on industry-specific terminology and linguistic nuances in both spanish and mandarin.
- proofread and edit translated materials to ensure grammatical correctness and readability.
- provide general administrative support to management, including managing files, records, documents, travel planning, meeting schedules, and other.
- assist with special projects, initiatives, or research assignments as assigned by management.
- handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
*requirements*:
- fluency in both spanish, mandarin, and english with excellent written and verbal communication skills in all languages.
- proven experience as a translator or interpreter, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- bachelor’s degree and/or certifications in translation, linguistics, or a related field preferred.
- knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with budget management.
- excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- strong organizational and time management skills.
- flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
