*we are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a regional sales manager (precision planting) based in the sinaloa region of mexico.
*responsibilities*:- *learn and validate the agronomic issues facing farmers in mexico*- *responsible for setting up and executing plot protocols for general agronomic education (singulation, downforce, depth, hybrids, population, nitrogen, etc.).
*- *operate a tractor and plot planter during planting season to help validate new equipment solutions locally.
*- *collaborate with precision planting's r&d agronomy team regarding design concepts based on detailed field testing.
*- *evaluate and document local plot results during the growing season and at harvest.
*- *develop growth and product penetration strategies and tactics to grow precision planting sales in a specified region*- *recruit new dealers who have a passion for our agronomic approach to teaching.
*- *train and support existing dealers to grow sales and service capability through our agronomic-centric approach.
*- *plan, manage, and present at agronomic-focused events (such as field days, planter clinics & farm shows) to build awareness of the yield-robbing agronomic problems that farmers face and how precision planting can resolve those problems.
*- *manage and develop approximately 5-10 dealer accounts*- *effectively communicate sales and marketing initiatives to dealers*- *effectively manage distribution channel to maximize sales while maintaining strong relationships with dealers and growers*- *understand and promote enterprise business strategies that support long term vision for the company*- *gain channel buy-in to product distribution strategies*- *achieve alignment with dealers and corporate strategy to ensure sales and service success*other responsibilities*:- *provide product demonstration presentations, planter maintenance presentations, and other presentations as needed by the dealer team
