Process machining engineer
job responsibilities:
* generate stable, robust and repetitive manufacturing processes.
* generate standards for all jobs.
* launch new products in accordance with established standards.
roles and responsibilities:
* register components, encode and parameterize codes and references in team center, define items and internal and external assembly routes.
* convene process reviews to present the selected manufacturing methods, ensuring the participation of experts.
* implement engineering changes, lead and implement changes originated internally or by the client, and improvements according to internal procedures.
* actively participate in the design and review process for generating new tools.
* analyze the behavior of your part numbers through statistical control and implement process improvements, time reduction, and address recurring problems.
* support the productive area with technical information, management of non-conforming material, idfs, operation sheets, and standard rework.
* prepare process matrix, request non-existing and obsolete mpc/pcpx specifications.
* generate the documentation required for ppap and keep the process fmea updated with feedback.
* participate actively in the transversal forum of process workers for generating corporate standards.
* monitor existing tools, improvements, replacements, useful life, registrations, and validation tests.
* track unit costs of assigned part numbers.
position profile:
academic background:
* mechanical, industrial, aeronautical engineer, or similar.
required knowledge:
* sap, design software cad (nx’s), team center.
* special processes: heat treatment, ndt, non-conventional machining, coatings.
* understanding of designs and gd&t.
* microsoft office software (excel, macro).
* basic knowledge of quality tools and lean manufacturing.
experience:
* 5 years experience as process/project engineer in an aeronautical or metal-mechanic company.
