.job summary:*amentum* is seeking *mailroom clerk* to join our team for our maintenance operationthis position performs routine mailroom functions, resolving issues and providing exemplary customer service at all time.
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- date stamp and sort incoming mail and faxes according to addressee(s) and deliver daily.- redirect any mail incorrectly addressed.- prepare outgoing mail and courier packages for daily pick up.- order office supplies as needed and as requested.- communicate office maintenance requirements and concerns to supervisor or manager.- assist in maintenance if needed.in addition, the mailroom clerk may perform other clerical duties as assigned, including:- filing, photocopying, faxing, collating, opening and sorting mail.- update and maintain the office contact and distribution list for the office.- update and maintain the office layout and emergency office map; distribute/post as required.- prepare and distribute general correspondence and memos regarding building security and maintenance as required.
