responsibilities
ensure and optimize inventory in accordance with the corporate objective, as applicable to the area under responsibility (reliability of records, status in system, resolution of discrepancies, stock levels, sale, removal of obsolete material, management of rotables, compliance with the cycle counting plan as applicable to the type of material, traceability, documentation, return to supplier, local scrap, discrepancy investigation, etc.).
evaluate, improve and optimize the processes related to the physical and virtual movements of materials in order to increase the reliability of the inventory, ensuring inputs and outputs in such a way that the internal client receives the required material in a timely manner.
planning, carrying out, investigating and closing cyclical inventories physically and in the system on time in order to ensure inventory reliability and availability for quick and accurate dispatch of material.
planning with the logistics coordinators for the distribution of cyclical inventory workload by week and shift in order to comply with the annual inventory plan.
training logistic coordinators and operators in inventory best practices.
identification of the main offenders in inventory discrepancies for reception and dispatch of all types of material physically and in system and development of an action plan for correction.
guarantee correct registration, preservation and packaging of material in order to ensure its integrity until its final use.
coordinate and ensure the correct physical completion of the kits that are delivered to module check.
identify areas for improvement and establish innovative work procedures and practices or adapt existing ones.
develop, measure and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas of opportunities with respect to inventory objectives, define an action plan and make corrections to achieve objectives.
control and ensure the key characteristics of the material inventory under responsibility (shelf life, preservation, handling, packaging, criticality for the production plan, etc.).
develop, update and ensure capacitation and on-the-job training of personnel according to the required skills and responsibilities with respect to inventory reliability.
analysis of inventories and consumption of materials.
update monthly reporting and record systems.
implementation of continuous improvements for the process and the area.
adherence to compliance with the area indicators.
