manufacturing manager, bfs will be responsible for planning, budgeting and ensuring an adequate, consistent and high quality supply of biological control products for pests and diseases in all production regions under the responsibility of the role. Propose and implement all necessary capital expenditure, infrastructure and equipment projects and improvements. All within budget and unit cost expectations. Design, establish and own all processes required to achieve this.
main responsibilities:
* responsible for the overall volume and quality of effective production planning requirements for the products the company needs to operate.
* determine staffing requirements based on planning and demand, always seeking efficiency and cost savings, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
* develop and ensure the implementation of standard operating procedures (sops) for the product portfolio.
* develop supply and demand models based on customer requirements.
* sourcing and approving external suppliers.
* work with r&d (research and development) and r&c (regulatory and compliance) to foster process improvement and compliance with all guidelines issued by applicable regulatory bodies.
* designs and promotes a culture of improvement among team members, soliciting ideas and constructive feedback.
* develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
* identify and foster partnerships with experts who can advise and share best manufacturing practices and innovations.
* personnel planning, management and development.
* planning, budgeting and management of the department's financial resources.
who are we looking for?
* biotechnology, bioengineering, microbiology, biology, agronomy or entomology professionals.
* 7+ years of experience in areas related to the position.
* proficiency in english language (verbal and written).
* experience in gmps and biological control.
* knowledge of the mode of action of the product and process improvement methodologies.
* strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* high level of project management and people management skills.
* excellent consulting, problem solving, and analytical skills.
