*role summary*:
the piping design engineer is responsible for the elaboration of fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and bill of materials following applicable standards for oil lubrication systems.
*responsibilities*:
- design lube oil system support to meet customer specifications, industry standards and international codes / develop of engineering lube oil system, drawings/documents/bill of material.
- collaborate with the workgroup to solve complex design and/or manufacturing problems
- source, evaluate, and specify manufactured and purchased components for system fabrication
- instruct/guide design team in the production of drawings, bom's, and supporting documentation for the manufacture, testing, installation, operation and support of mechanical seal auxiliary systems
- contribute expertise to global standardization efforts
- effectively manage an ongoing queue of multiple projects/orders with consideration to quality and on-time delivery
*qualifications*:
- bachelor's degree (b. S.) in an engineering discipline (mechanical, mechatronic, electro-mechanical, or similar).
- 5+ years related experience.
- competent in computer-aided-design (autocad / solidworks).
- ability to work independently and as team.
- strong analytical, problem solving, and computer skills
- strong english oral and written communication skills
- strong planning, time management and organizational skills; able to succeed in a collaborative environment while establishing and executing on priorities that include multiple projects, support requests and cip initiatives
- strong personnel development and mentoring skills
- ability to focus on long term goals and to identify and produce deliverables aligned with business objectives

- strong background in process piping and instrumentation, including components selection and hazardous area certification requirements.
- design mechanical seal support systems to meet customer specifications, industry standards and international codes.
- 3d skills to produce skid drawings as well as piping schematics and bills of materials.

- experiences working with pipe tracing modules
- strong background in hydraulic systems design and function; experience with api and asme codes
