general summary
responsible for achieving md&d product sales to new and established specialty accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration. This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.
duties & responsibilities
1. assists in the attainment of established sales goals including market share objectives in prescribed territory.
2. conducts and implements market development and field marketing activities. Schedules appointments and makes preplanned sales presentations to customers.
3. demonstrates proper use of products to physicians.
4. develops customer and product focused presentation packages for sales.
5. promotes and coordinates professional education activities to enhance the knowledge of health care professionals.
6. acts as the direct line to customers.
7. makes regular visits to customer locations to gather information in orders and market conditions.
8. performs contract and/or tender management activities.
9. targets and manages assigned territory while operating within an assigned budget.
10. coordinates with the logistics team to ensure product availability.
11. executes national, regional and local promotional activities that are designed to advance sales in specific product lines or areas.
12. follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.
13. develops and maintains sales forecasts for business planning by account and submits to management.
14. prepares sales reports and documents as required. Provides management with customer feedback and marketplace information. Identifies potential impacts to business.
qualifications
- years of experience: requires 2-5 years related experience.
- preferably: industrial engineering, administration or sales university degree.
- excellent oral (including group presentations) and written communication skills, as well as solid organizational and time management abilities are required. The qualified candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and customer relationship-building skills and enjoys working in collaborative and dynamic environment.
