Code17 is looking for a data scientist with expertise in media mix modeling (mmm) and consumer packaged goods (cpg) analytics to join our growing team. This role is instrumental in helping businesses optimize marketing spend, measure campaign effectiveness, and drive data-driven strategic decision-making .
key responsibilities:
* develop and implement media mix modeling (mmm) frameworks to analyze media impact and optimize marketing strategies.
* conduct predictive analytics and regression modeling to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in cpg, fmcg, and retail environments.
* utilize python, r, and sql to build robust data models, conduct statistical analysis, and visualize key insights.
* work with big data tools (spark, databricks, etc.) to process large datasets and enhance analytical capabilities.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
* apply bayesian modeling, regression analysis, and machine learning techniques to refine mmm methodologies.
* ensure data integrity, automation of reports, and continuous improvement of analytics workflows.
key qualifications:
✔ 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or marketing analytics
✔ strong hands-on experience with marketing mix modeling (mmm/mmx) and media impact analysis
✔ proven expertise in cpg, fmcg, or retail analytics
✔ proficiency in python, r, and sql for data manipulation, statistical modeling, and visualization
✔ experience working with big data tools such as spark, databricks, or similar platforms
* ✔ strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills to engage with stakeholders
