*title traffic scheduler platform manager*:reports to division pc&l directordirect reports platform traffic leaders, customs coordinatorsfunctional reports customs coordinators*main mission*:the traffic scheduler platform manager is responsible for all the transportations operations related to production parts, inside the region of the platform. His/her role is to develop, deploy and manage these operations as described in the service level agreements, at the best possible cost.she or he is managing the team of traffic scheduling in the platform, lead the implementation standard processes, she or he is ensuring their compliances to icb rules and fes x.o requirement, and their continuous improvement in term of cost and effectiveness. In such context, she or he anticipates the needs of resources and skills as per platform business plan and collaborate with shareholders function (hr, gis, purchasing, programs and plant operations) to implement relevant staffing, development plans and adequate training.the traffic scheduler platform manager is accountable for:- ts daily operations in the platform, according to agreed service level agreements with plants / other structures- implementation and lead of the platform as a competence center for traffic scheduling- the adherence to fes x.0 requirements related to transportation, and propose, design and implement continuous improvement on processes and tools used in the ts platform- contribution to roadmap for carriers, 3pl management and productivity portfolio, on serial life but also support the set up and costing for the new programs- platform budget achievement ( staffing, cost, and transaction cost to plants, recharge cost to carrier)- master's degree in industrial or supply-chain management, or economy- multi-functional & multi-cultural communication, overseas experience a plus- experience in operations, in transportation, even if out of automotive industry,- sap knowledge and especially mm, pp and tm modules appreciated- ideally tri-lingual (english + two other languages)- customer orientation / leadership / team spirit / autonomy / openness to new ideas
