*principal accountabilities*:
- responsible for protecting production environment for global systems, ensuring end-to-end high availability, performance and reliability
- working towards continuous improvement, optimizing existing systems, managing infrastructure and reducing work through automation
- be able to efficiently communicate on the production/crisis calls
- accountable for executing root cause analysis for production issues.
- working in a 24x7 global operation fts team during americas shift.
- leading a gps sub-value stream (svs) for the americas pe team
- leading a technical team of production engineers/sres
- work during americas shift on a fts model, including weekends (rota-based) and occasionally to be on after office hour on-call for supporting high and critical incidents.
- team leadership, including but not limited to timesheets, snow requests, log reviews, interviews, budget/pmo reviews, performance reviews.
- meetings with stakeholders, including but not limited to local gsc, mx wholesale it, americas team(s), global pe team(s), change/implementation team(s), hr.
*key requierements for the role*:
- work experience of 5 years with at least 2 years prior in l0/l1 production support
- 5 years on the role or similar roles of leadership.
- cybersecurity awareness.
- itil concepts understanding.
experience on service management tool like service now or something similar
- good understanding of unix (linux) command and shell scripting.
- knowledge on sql and stored procedures, preferentially in oracle database
- good troubleshooting/debugging c++ and/or java code, sql and stored procedures.
- basic integration knowledge (architecture design, web application servers, ibm mq, load balancers).
- systematic problem-solving approach.
- strong verbal and conversational english communication (over c1 level)
- safe methodology, increase velocity of the teams
- devopssec mindset
- 24x7 availability
- hybrid-role 2 or 3 days on the office; work on site as per mexico requirements
- high values and engagement, work under stress, conflict manager, resilience, self-motivation.
