general job description:
under general supervision, perform the following activities:
1. perform a variety of customer service and administrative in-house duties to support efficient clearance process; respond to customer needs regarding clearance paperwork, tracing of shipments, identification of problems, and resolution through available information or transfer to source; requires direct and indirect customer interface.
2. ensure customer information is properly documented and entered into the system on a timely basis.
3. type or otherwise prepare various operations and customer reports.
4. ensure all shipments are manifested; report any discrepancies to the responsible area.
5. audit all records and files as assigned to compile all necessary data.
6. handle customers with non-document packages in cage.
7. provide current package status updates and basic follow-up activity, monitor shipment movement, and interpret cosmos global scan updates.
8. may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
minimum requirements:
minimum education:
• high school degree/equivalent.
• proficiency in english (450 toeic points).
minimum experience:
• previous clerical or customer service experience in a service environment.
minimum required skills:
• average general office skills required including typing, filing, and computer programs.
• good communication and human relations skills.
• clear and articulate speaking voice.
• clean cut and neat appearance.
• ability to prioritize.
• spoken and written fluency in english as well as local language.
• ability to work various shifts.
