our client is seeking a visionary leader to drive formulation development and lead a team of scientists in creating cutting-edge hair coloration solutions.

your objectives:
* lead the development of high-quality, innovative hair coloration formulas from concept to commercialization.
* ensure all formulations meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards for target markets.
* manage and mentor a team of scientists and formulation chemists to drive innovation and excellence.
what you will do:
* lead the formulation of innovative hair coloration products.
* ensure compliance with global and local regulatory requirements.
* stay updated on advancements in hair dye chemistry, raw materials, and industry trends.
* collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing teams for successful product launches.
* troubleshoot and solve formulation challenges to optimize performance.
* partner with suppliers to evaluate new raw materials and technologies.
* optimize formulations for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
what you will bring:
* bachelor’s, master’s, or phd in chemistry, cosmetic science, or chemical engineering.
* minimum 7+ years of experience in hair coloration formulation within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
* expertise in hair dye chemistry, oxidative and direct dyes, and formulation stability.
* leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
* hands-on experience with formulation development and scale-up processes.
* knowledge of global regulatory requirements (e.g., eu, fda, cofepris).
* strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* fluency in english and spanish.
