*your job*:
the purpose of this role is to handle procurement of goods and services in the certain complex categories; ensure goods and services are acquired at the best possible costs and quality; demonstrate sound business and professional ethics; build trust with key stakeholders and follow-through on commitments.
categories assigned falls into the 'critical' spend bucket, managing a spend profile up to $30m.
responsibilites:
- manage contract negotiation and execution with new vendors and work with the legal, finance and stakeholders for timely executions of contracts
- understand, track, and forecast the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned commodities
- identify and evaluate business risks in contracts and advise the business owner of their performance obligations to mitigation said risk
- support day to day procurement functions such as operational (po) process execution, new vendor onboarding, renewing contracts, review and approve purchase requisitions, etc.
- develops and facilitates the evaluation of request for proposals (rfp's) through a cross-functional team and quote packages to ensure the establishment of qualified support, in order to deliver an efficient, high quality service to meet business unit objectives
- coaching & training internal stakeholders on procurement processes, advises on contract requirements, corporate polices and procurement procedures act as a point of contact for general procurement issues such as queries related to invoices, pos, eforms etc.

*who you are*:
- bachelor's degree required (business or finance preferred)
- 7+ years of procurement experience in supply chain, it, engineering or other closely related field
- strong knowledge of contract law and contract management
- well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- high level of attention to detail
- strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills
- proficient in the microsoft office suite
- experience with workday/oracle/sap or any erp system.
