human resources generalist responsibilities involve administering human resources (hr) processes, maintaining organizational information, problem-solving, and collaborating across human resources business partners to complete assignments to include reporting, analysis, workforce planning, performance management, onboarding, and organizational changes.
also serves as the human resources point of contact for employees on day-to-day business human resources matters.
what you can expect- responsible for managing employee data and supporting hr manager as it relates to open positions, employment offers, compensation/job evaluation, benefit-related communication, termination process, performance management process, diversity initiatives & metrics, new hire communication, orientation, and onboarding.- provides basic hr guidance to employees on various topics and issues in partnership with the hr managers.- creates reports and analyses for the hr management team.
works closely with the director of hr, hr managers, and hiring managers by providing support as it relates to employee data and implementing changes regarding workforce planning, performance management, and all hr-related matters.
researches and analyzes data as it relates to hr.- develops and maintains close working relationships with a broad scope of employees across brown-forman to ensure timely coordination and accomplishment of assigned responsibilities.- partners with hr managers to ensure a successful onboarding experience for new employees, including communication with employees, and partnering with the hiring manager to ensure a robust onboarding plan is in place for each new hire.- leads hr business process execution; this will include functional area incentive and performance management processes, reporting, auditing, and implementation of information in workday.
identifies continuous process improvement and implements changes within the scope of the role.- other hr projects as assigned, including:
- supports certification process for employee rankings such as great place to work
- liaison with payroll on sales commissions process.
- coordinates necessary security roles and updates with it security.
what you bring to the table- minimum of 3 years experience in hr generalist/hr systems responsibilities- must be able to plan, organize, and complete assignments promptly and with little oversight- detail oriented, process thinking, customer focused, problem solver; able to work with a team and independently- advanced computer skills with current, or ability to quickly build, proficiency of google workplace (slides, docs, sheets, drive, calendar and mail), microsoft word, power point, excel and other software, as needed.- demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail.
