*general functions*:
- supervise up to 60 direct personnel.
- may supervise up to 3 production coordinators
- be leader for the bps fundamental in his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s).
- complete all established paperwork related to his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s), including administrative and transaction records.
- comply with all the company policies and procedures and secure that all personnel under his/her supervision also comply with this requirement.
- back-flush all wip material transaction
- accomplish the established production schedule for quantity and timeframe.
- secure that the product produced in his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s), comply with the established requirements indicated in a drawing, specification or any official document.
- able to communicate and negotiate with people other than those in his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s).
- develop personnel under his/her supervision, through cross-training and formal training.
*special functions*:
- supervise up to 3 different assembly lines or cells, and up to 6 lines or cells with the support of one or more production coordinators.
- be able to utilize properly and efficiently the sap system commands related with operations.
- be able to make decisions for line changeovers, use of available material, and maximize production output and any other related to production.
- participate in the selection of direct personnel related to production.
*specific responsibilities*:
- consistently achieve the attainment of his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s).
- consistently achieve or exceed established productivity percentage in his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s).
- consistently maintain on or below budget, the scrap cost allowed for his/her assembly line or cell(s).
- provide contributions in the area of production when changes in the process are required or new product will be introduced.
- provide contribution in the improvement, modification and utilization of production equipment and machinery.
- report discrepancies found in the wip material through the proper use of qn's using sap.

*skills, education and experience required*:
- *education*:bachelor degree
- *experience*:preferably at least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing supervision position or two (2) years of outstanding supervisory experience as a supervisor 1.
- *abilities*:skilled in problem solving techniques and project management.
- ability to coach and motivate group leaders and operators to promote continuous improvement and waste elimination.
