We are looking for a highly motivated security professional with creativity, initiative, teamwork driven and project management skills to lead our security prevention practices in sephora mexico.
this role will play a key part in the practice of loss prevention in stores and dc, overseeing the delivery of executive protection services, embedded consulting services, and delivering training and consultancy.
responsibilities:
* identify improvements, track and report on key performance metrics, which allow performance to be increased so that the desired results are achieved based on the business strategy.
* ensure that internal controls are met according to cedis requirements.
* follow up on investigations of suspected theft and internal fraud; conduct interviews when appropriate.
* identify, promote and implement security best practices.
* effectively partner with internal customers to evaluate current and future security services, processes and initiatives.
* coordinate data collection and analysis, generating strategic and tactical interpretations.
* drive the process by which compliance with all corporate loss prevention program standards is attained.
* serve as a member of a coordinated team of loss prevention in relentlessly pursuing improvements to company-wide loss prevention program efforts.
* perform interior and exterior loss prevention audits of all the country stores and respond to any security or loss prevention issues noted.
* encourage and promote loss prevention within the workforce exercising integrity and ethical methods.
* support the development and deployment of cost-effective security systems and solutions to mitigate risks and modus operandi.
* establish and use risk assessment processes to identify and prioritize risks and mitigation means.
* positively reflect the sephora/loss prevention department through public relations and customer service; set a personal example of the highest level.
* demonstrate knowledge of loss prevention best practices in retail stores, supply chain, distribution and delivery centers, including application of physical security systems, investigation techniques, management of contract guard agencies, and delivery carriers’ loss mitigation techniques.
* day-to-day supervision of executive protection engagements.
* be in charge of the loss prevention executive security program.
* be in charge of civil protection in the corporate office.
experience:
* experience in executive protection strategy.
* solid experience as responsible for the execution and strategy for loss prevention activities for a physical site (fabric, warehouse, retail store, etc.).
* solid experience with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, and video review systems.
* solid experience in security services, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control.
* intermediate-advanced excel skills.
* 5 years’ experience in a country environment managing security and loss prevention in supply chain, industrial, logistics, transportation, same-day delivery.
* cpp, psp, tapa training will be noted as a plus.
* interviewing and interrogation experience desired, and wicklander and zulawski certification is a plus.
