Process automation sales manager - power generation and oil & gas

this position is a key role in driving the success of our process automation business unit within the energy industries division.
key responsibilities:
• develop and implement market-based strategies for direct, third-party, and project sales across assigned industry segments.
• lead the development of a comprehensive industry segment strategy that includes market presence, execution standards, and delivery models.
• drive profitable growth by focusing on market penetration, innovation, and expansion activities.
• define and achieve key targets, such as volume, prices, and portfolio mix, for assigned segments.
• ensure proper business plans are in place and executed by a market-oriented organization.
• foster revenue growth of the top line in each target industry segment.
• lead and manage segment team members, reinforcing global sales efficiency and performance.
• build relationships with key external influencers and customers, leveraging abb's strengths to capture new business opportunities.
• drive knowledge sharing and cross-division/cross-country collaborations.
• activate operational intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify industry segment trends and practices.
• develop and communicate abb's value proposition for target segments both internally and externally.
requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in sales within the automation, digital, and energy industry.
- enhanced knowledge of digital process automation software such as aveva, aspen tech, and hexagon.
- passionate about leading marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within defined industry segments.
- bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, with a master's degree as an asset.
- advanced english communication skills.
- current valid mexican passport and american visa.
