The person in this position will support the r2r (record to report) team, providing high-quality services, performing daily accounting duties, in the field of tax settlements and taking an active part in activities related to the closing of the month.
How you will make a difference
- coordination of tasks related to tax settlement within a special economic zone
- cooperation with an external supplier in the preparation of monthly jpk_v7m and vat-eu declarations
- verification of items from employee settlements as to the possibility of vat deduction
- giving opinions on contracts in terms of tax
- acting as contract administrator for the finance & accounting department and supporting other departments in this regard
- cooperation with bok in the field of correctness of the issued sales invoices and corrective invoices
- prepare assigned account reconciliations and ensure that any discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner - control/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, p&l, bank accounts, etc.)
- active participation in the end of the month
- ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards (e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.)
- accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and/or for external audiences (compliance reporting) including consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, budget reporting, etc.)
- cost accounting/budgeting (allocation of direct/indirect costs, variance analysis, budget preparation, etc.)
- accounts payable/receivable and/or credit & collections

skills for success
- minimum 3 years of experience in working in accountant position
- very good command of the english language
- knowledge of the accounting act and a fluent use of accounting and financial programs and ms excel; knowledge of sap will be an advantage
- ability to quickly diagnose problems and focus on finding solutions
- ability to organize own work, task management, and define priorities
- openness, willingness to learn, creativity and initiative
