your mission, roles and responsibilities
are you a skilled and creative process engineer who can design and implement efficient and ergonomic production processes in a dynamic environment? as the process engineer, you will be responsible for managing the product interface with product development, contributing to the engineering change management process, supporting continuous improvement and production, and participating in the manufacturing engineering network. You will also design, implement, and monitor the production processes, ensuring the feasibility, productivity, and quality of the products.
this job will require you to:
* support development and improvement of processes and programs within your perimeter.
* develop and deploy process standards, design checklist/guidelines, and best practices.
* contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and equipment.
* support production or parts suppliers to solve problems related to process engineering.
* maintain series production.
* assist in analyzing, validating, and implementing process modifications.
* support the maintenance of a local database of tooling and equipment.
* provide feedback on existing status and plant’s recommendations for process issues.
* participate in tooling and equipment follow-up and validations.
* support reception and start-up of tooling and equipment.
* define process solutions and ensure that process standards are applied.
* support the identification of available capacity.
* release tooling and equipment specifications.
* define, maintain, and improve process standards in your field of expertise (tooling, equipment).
* create and maintain related process specifications.
* ensure that process/equipment standards are applied (plants and programs).
your profile and competencies to succeed
* bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in production or mechanical engineering.
* at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the auto industry.
* technically skilled in product and process design, such as fmea, takt time, and ergonomics.
* strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* international mindset, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
* english required, other languages are a plus.
