*position*:
oc lead inspector (desk) to monitor the quality of all manufactured products, supervising and coordination of project related activities locally in the office in
*responsibilities*:
- responsible to contact inspection agencies in order to arrange inspectors or expeditors, this depending on type of inspection request, to plan and instruct assigned inspectors in order to have inspection performed on requested inspection date/ location and area.
- to expedite inspection agencies regarding inspection reports/ release notes, to have reports reviewed for activities performed during inspection visits.
- to review invoices (dates, working hours, expenses etc.)
sent by inspection agencies.
- to maintain traceability of outstanding/closed punch lists, ncrs, to inform package engineer about issues/ findings noticed during inspection, also to inform/ advise disciplinary engineer for corrective actions or proposals.
- to attend inspection kick of meetings in order to discuss inspection related activities, to discuss fabrication schedule and review provided itps.

countabilities:
1- able to review and prepare itp.
2- scheduling qc activities as per itp.
3- timely contact and coordinate inspections with 3rd party agencies.
4- review cv of proposed inspectors by 3rd party agencies.
5- creating and maintain database for inspector including qualifications.
6- able to give technical support to assigned inspector and product team on quality control requirements.
7- monitoring quality during fabrication and production process.
8- attending procurement meetings.
9- attending, organizing and eventually reporting pre-inspection meeting.
10- reviewing inspection reports and to distribute it accordingly.
11- reviewing technical documentation (itp, material certificates, hydro static reports, wps, wpqr) and to ensure is save accordingly in own system.
12- knowledge of ndt procedures and activities.
13- additionally, able to perform own inspections if necessary.
