*role summary*:
this position will contribute to the activities of payroll for their assigned region on a daily basis.
the payroll analyst will complete the weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payroll accurately by auditing and ensure payroll is processed and submitted by set deadlines.
once payroll is closed all electronic paper payroll distributions are completed.
administer benefits for all employees within your assigned region.

- the payroll analyst will contribute to issue resolution within tier ii and will support the service delivery (sdm) and provide effective and timely solutions to hr operations and all flowserve employees.
- collaborate with hr representatives on simplifying and standardizing processes in payroll compliance and non-payroll compliance.
- customer service: communicate with all levels of the organization effectively by responding in a timely manner and providing friendly customer service.
- timekeeping: collect and enter all payroll time logs, time corrections and all other electronic paper files related to the company's weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payroll process.
- payroll processing: complete weekly, bi-weekly semi-monthly and monthly payroll accurately and ensure processed and submitted by payroll set deadlines.
- payroll compliance: ensure compliance with existing controls including sox compliance, internal audit, flowserve policies, payroll procedures, and federal and state laws.
- payroll/benefits: administer benefit processing for all employees.
additional duties may involve supplying employees with manuals, booklets, forms, provider information, and any other relevant information regarding benefits.
*requirements*:
- high school diploma requires; bachelor's degree in accounting business, finance or related field, with prior experience and knowledge in above accountabilities per the below guidelines:
- 5 years experience in payroll area.
- the successful contributor in this role should demonstrate proficiency in the following:
- excellent communication skills both oral and written and ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
- basic tax knowledge required
- payroll system knowledge experience is highly desirable
- benefit experience leadership experience
- must have strong ethical standards
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function in a cooperative team approach
- must have intermediate proficiency in microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook)
- strong analytical and problem solving skills
- attention to detail and accuracy is a must action oriented and customer focused
- must be organized and have strong time management skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlines internal as well as external deadlines
- must have a good knowledge of local hr related compliance laws and regulation
*preferred experience / skills*:
- fluent english
- experience in manufacturing industry
- understanding of sox requirements as it pertains to payroll, employee data and benefits
