responsibilities
key responsibilities
1. support new program planning - manage odyssey data throughout program. Monitor ivs to understand mdx / network topology availability.
2. develop diagnostic service functions to be used globally in support of dealers/customers.
3. manage odyssey product structure throughout the life of the program, upload mdx data to odyssey as required.
4. support dsp planning by providing mdx status/updates.
5. optimize/manage odyssey qualifiers to ensure 100% vehicle to mdx mapping.
6. must have experience interpreting can data and related standards - iso 14229 / uds.
7. manage and understand can data to support application development/debug.
8. interface with module suppliers to ensure service functions are implemented properly.
9. implement module did's to support data logger as a diagnostic solution.
10. validate solutions using both simulation and on-vehicle validation.
11. respond to field issues with urgency - compete like a challenger.
12. occasional use of rally to document system modifications to support new vehicle features/diagnostics.
qualifications
1. bachelor’s degree. Ideal candidate will have some experience in one of these areas of study: computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mathematics.
preferred requirements:
1. 1+ years of experience in additional contemporary computer programming languages and libraries (python, c, java, c++, vb, etc.).
2. experience working in a team to deliver new features/diagnostic solutions, working across multiple disciplines to support application implementation, and final validation.
3. possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and across multiple technical areas.
4. work closely and effectively with external partners – component suppliers, vendors, etc.
5. be proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks as well as work independently and take ownership of delivery for mission-critical functionality.
6. strong desire to enhance and improve the technician’s diagnostic experience.
7. ability to work with global teams to communicate and agree on desired outcomes.
