Summary:
business pursuit finance analyst who is team oriented for working with cross sectional staffs of management, engineering, manufacturing, program management, and finance. This position is faced paced, requires good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and exposure to all functional areas within the business unit.
responsibilities:
1. lead development of business cases/cash flows/financials for customer quotes, appropriation requests (ars) and program management gate review updates.
2. quote cash flows will develop pricing to meet aptiv doa hurdle rates and compare current part number profitability to quote financial profitability as required.
3. gate review cash flows/financials will be used to measure current financial status of the program compared to the ar and assisting program management in understanding detailed drivers for the differences.
4. gathering the necessary financial inputs from estimating system/sap as required, engineering, commercial, etc. and developing the current financial status of the project for the requisite gate review update
5. team member on business pursuit/quotations in providing business cases
6. team member on securing funding approval
7. provide finance updates for programs prior to program launch
must haves (basic qualifications):
8. bachelor's degree in business
9. 5+ years of experience
10. demonstrated proficiency using microsoft office (i.e. Word, project, excel, outlook, skype, teams, visio, etc.)
11. ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
12. strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
13. strong leadership skills
14. excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
15. ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
16. resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
