responsibilities
• coordinate and carry out inspections in all the regions at the mx level with the optical imaging camera (ogi)
• manage leaks detected through a leak detection plan at the mx level
• analyze, review and disseminate the results of the camera with the optical imaging of each of the regions at the mx level
• investigate and propose new technologies to reduce fugitive methane emissions
• present semi-annual reports on leak detection and repair management and prepare an annual ppciem report to asea
• report the annual kpis for compliance with the strategy
• participate in quarterly reviews of the strategy and audits related to ghg
• perform an annual inventory of the components of emissions to the atmosphere
• time on site 60% and administrative time 40%
preferred qualifications
• completed degree in areas related to energy, environment or engineering such as: industrial, mechanical, mechatronics, chemical, environmental, or related career
• fluent communication in english, spoken and written
• 3 to 5 years of experience in topics related to emissions into the atmosphere
• knowledge in the use of optical imaging camera equipment (ogi) and interpretation of results in methane emissions inspections
• technical/operational knowledge in natural gas transportation systems
• knowledge of current laws and regulations on atmospheric emissions issues
• availability for field work and travel, as well as to perform administrative work
• valid driver's license
• driving of automatic and standard vehicles
• excellent computer skills: experience with ms project, powerpoint, power bi and other microsoft software packages.
• planning, organization and coordination skills within the team
• ability to propose and justify technical proposals, generate consensus and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• planning, communication, leadership, resilience, commitment and conflict resolution
• time management and ability to handle administrative issues
